imagine that humanity is a spectrum, black and white and infinite shades of grey. our minds are adaptive learning computers, they learn from experience. everyone has unique experiences and therefore has a unique mind. the majority fall in the middle and there is less and less as you go out towards the extremes. maybe the majority has social based minds, neurotypicals. the extremes would be those with more logical-structure based minds, aspies. so while the majority of the people are more than okay within our current system there are the minority that suffer from it. the neurotypicals base their existence more on image, reputation, position on the social hierarchy, following the norms, following conventions and basically living by popular opinion. aspies on the other hand tend to defy convention, think outside the box, create their own belief systems and basically create themselves in their own image. aspies can arise anywhere in the world and come to the same understanding as any other aspie in the world. neurotypicals are more based on culture and can vary drastically from one location to the next.
so i was talking to my step dad and he was telling me a story about how a guy on parole robbed him and was like all polite, but had a gun and was basically trying to get caught on purpose and even said so. basically the guy was like, “i cant take it out here”.
since i had already thought about this before i had a pretty awesome take on it. basically i view it has there are two types of aspies, those who have their own belief system beside the model of the government and civilization they created and those who live by the government and civilization. since we are our experiences we inevitably create models based on the repeated patterns we experience. these models end up creating near exact replicas of the reality. to say living in the US would create a copy of the US Constitution in your mind would be inaccurate because for the most part we dont live by the US Constitution. it would create the actual, not the theoretical model. so back to my point, this guy has a model of the government in his mind because he is an aspie and cant help but explore the inner workings of things. his head got all up in the government and the government is all confusing, contradictory and hypocritical. he has trouble separating himself from the model of the system that he lives within, that he is part of. he would prefer to go back to prison where the system is rigid and well defined then risk the insanity that the outside world would cause him.
i dont blame these people.. no more than i would blame a wild animal defending himself. i cant blame terrorists either because their actions dont seem illogical to me. without a doubt victimization but not irrational. from this large aerial systemic perspective of the government which is a democracy. i see the problem as the people, the voters with the power to change anything if they set their mind to it, ignoring or being oblivious to the atrocities their government is committing. to the rampant corruption that is spreading like a cancer throughout the entire system from a small town public school district to an entire presidency that destroyed another country solely for profit. its our ignorance as a people that allow these things to happen. there are forces at work against us, confusing us with tons of misinformation. like there is one thousand untruths for every truth, its hard work to find the truth. why do terrorists attack us? because they are angry, we did something to them, maybe not us specifically but us as a whole. maybe our soldiers committed some atrocity, maybe our businesses are sucking the life blood from their country. if they had the means to declare war with us like another civilized country would they would but they dont. they can come and visit us and what they see is a country, a democracy where we the people are in charge letting our government and our military rape and murder their women and children while mugging them for their oil. they see the truth, that we are oblivious, living in the moment, partying, drinking, playing video games, watching reality TV. they know the only way we will care is if they make us care. lets prove them wrong.
the problem is cultural. we need to make our system more symmetrical and consistent. more logical and more intuitive. no more double standards, no more hypocrisy, no more exceptions.. rights are rights and should be inalienable. we need a new code, no not a code a perspective of morality. i have one. its not WHAT its HOW and WHY does not matter if HOW is wrong. for example. SEX is a WHAT. sex is neither inherently good or evil. it can be either. if you have consent then the HOW is okay, if you dont then its bad, its rape, illegal and immoral. if the HOW is okay then you can take a look at the WHY and explore the intention. if the intention of the guy is to trick the virgin girl to give it up for him and then dump her, then he has bad intentions and is immoral.
a lot of these bad guys may be following all the laws but they are definitely immoral. we can make a difference. we just have to stop thinking that things could be worse and instead put our foot down and start saying things could be better. we need to stop thinking that we are only one and cant make a difference so why bother and start thinking i am one and you are one, lets be two. you may not know people at the top but you know someone just a bit higher who knows someone just a bit higher. you may not be able to impact national politics but you can impact your city’s politics and your county politics. clean up locally first, get involved, make it fun, make it an extra-curricular activity, make it cultural. you have children? get involved in the school district, the majority of them are probably corrupt. do something! most of these systems go without any civilian oversight. change your neighborhood and then the next, then the whole town, then the county, then the state, then together we as states will change the nation and we as a nation will change the world.
its time. lets do this.
